Notes: My name is Natasha aka Miss Prissy and I am a purebred White Persian with Green Eyes - Here is my story: My Agent (aka Owner) dumped me at the shelter. My coat was matted and in terrible condition. As well, my eyes were stained and my entire body was infested with fleas and dandruff. (See my intake photo at the shelter - it's the third photo!). Thank god the Paparazzi did not see my intake photo or my career as a model would be over. Oh, that's right; my career is over as my agent did not leave my association papers with the shelter. You see, there is an association called CFA (Cat Fancier's Association) which is sort of like a modeling agency, you know like the Ford Modeling Agency for humans? Well, I do not have my papers that show my pedigree as a Persian so no more cat walk for me! Anyway, I do not care if I cannot model anymore as I am tired of starving to death. Either my agent preferred to keep me on the skinny side or did not realize that I needed a dental as I could not chew dry food. The people at the shelter contacted a nice lady from a Persian rescue group and told her that "I did not have much time as I do not show well". How could I show well? How could I smile when all of my teeth were brown? I was in pain physically and mentally. I did not understand what I did wrong to be dumped. The nice lady from the Persian rescue group called my foster mom and dad to see if they would foster me and the rest is history. My foster parents took me to the doctor and I had a physical which included complete blood work, teeth cleaned, de-fleaing, de-worming, vaccinations, testing for FELV/FIV (negative results) and microchipped. I have been professionally groomed, bath blow dry, mani/pedi. (See AFTER photos). The doctor said that I am very healthy but I need to gain weight which is no problem at my foster parent's house. My bowls are always filled with canned and dry food. My foster mom says I have perfect manners; I use the litterbox faithfully, scratch my designated scratch post and am trained. When you call my name, I will come running to you. I will run faster if you have a plate of canned food in your hand. I love to play with toy mice and I like to sleep with my favorite toy, "Tina Tortellini Ratateeni". Now I just need to find someone to love and who will love me back. I am only 6 years young and have many years left to adore you. I require routine grooming but this is not a problem since I do not mind taking a bath, having my eyes cleaned, and my nails done.
