Notes: PAPA has the tail of a bunny rabbit, and the markings of a lynx point Siamese - but with his folded ears, there's no denying he's a Scottish fold. Papa is a sweet cat who likes affection. But he was raised in a cage for most of his life, so he becomes very leary and scared in open spaces. He will need a compassionate patient adopter who understands that he may be timid, but he is also a loving cat. Papa definitely seems to like it when you hold him in his lap and pet him. He isn't aggressive or difficult to handle, but he does seem more comfortable when he's in a small place, which seems to mimic his life in a cage. Yet when you pick him up and talk to him, he is totally fine and happy, and snuggles his head into your arm or your body. He's a really nice cat who just was not giving a very good life, and we're hoping to change that. We hope you feel the same, and will consider Papa as your special rescue project kitty, just as we do.
